Lorraine Olson has known the Lord all of her life and is an ardent believer in His affection for people and His desire for a close, intimate relationship with us.
Lorraine was raised in a Christ-centered home and was led in the prayer of salvation at the age of 5 after a nightmare had scared her awake. Her mother read Psalms 91 to her and explained that she didn't need to fear if Jesus was her savior. Her mother then asked if she wanted Jesus in her heart and an excited "Yes!" turned into a life long passion for Him.
Early on, her family went to an Assembly of God congregation, followed by a few different non-denominational churches. Ultimately, they went to a Vineyard Fellowship during her high school years and she stayed in one throughout adulthood until moving to the Crescent City area in 2013.
Lorraine has served people and the church in many ways including women's ministry, small groups, prayer ministry, retreat planning, and youth groups.
Currently Lorraine is a Health Record professional for the California State Correctional System, having worked in that field for more than 30 years, but dreams of having time to travel and a home with room enough for others.
