Fellowship & Worship

Worship, friendship, and life together at The River.

Fellowship

Fellowship at The River means welcoming people without expectations. People introduce themselves and help newcomers meet others. Campers, hikers, kayakers, and cyclists are welcome; the atmosphere and dress are casual. We value warmth, laughter, and friendship while making room for people experiencing pain or difficulty. We have all needed mercy, forgiveness, and healing, and many are still working through challenges. The church is a place to keep learning and growing.

Worship

Worship involves the heart and mind as well as music. Sundays bring together songs, prayer, communion, Bible teaching, and thanksgiving for God's goodness and love. The format can vary from week to week. Music includes contemporary songs, traditional hymns, and gospel. We read Scripture aloud and pray together. Our teaching seeks to honor God and help people live and serve in his kingdom.
